Pros:- Fast speeds available with FTTC – up to 80mb down and 20mb up (location dependant)
- Low cost – starting from as low as £25 + vat per month
- Great for smaller businesses (sub 10 users) or businesses that have low internet use
- Contention – connections are shared at the cabinet with other addresses so data can slow down
- The speed is geared to download – so you could have 80mb download speed but you can only upload at 20mb
- Poor SLA’s and very little compensation if a service goes down
